I found a wonderful resource that is the best thing I have found yet. I am thinking I will not have to go to any homeschool fairs with this resource so readily available. And, school is easily accessible and fun now. This resource has opened up a whole new world of educational materials that I had never heard of before, and that were not even available to me if I had heard of them.
What am I talking about?
It is a co-op.
You know how it works. You band together with others interested in the same products to get what you need at discounts.
But this is a homeschool co-op. And we are getting discounts like I have never thought possible before.
Take for example, Rosetta Stone. The costly but very effective foreign language program. We can get up to 47% discount, depending on the product we choose, in the month of April – this month! And last month I got a history program for free, just paid a small amount for the “shipping and handling”. I also got some online math curriculum help for 60% off for the third and following subscriptions.
The list goes on.
You really owe it to yourself to check this out.
http://www.homeschoolbuyersco-op.org/?source=83828″ The Homeschool Buyer Co-op is a free homeschooling organization for both new and veteran homeschoolers. Co-op membership is free and confidential, and entitles homeschooling families to discounts from over a hundred educational suppliers. They also sponsor “Group Buys” for curriculum packages that save homerschooling families lots of money. On the site you’ll find lots of free information, such as databases of free curriculum, field trips, and educational contests and scholarships. Highly recommended. Click here for more information.
I can’t believe I put off investigating this co-op for so long. I wonder what I missed in so doing . .

Ideal Workbox System
It rolls, it has two size drawers, either size big enough for books, and it has 15 drawers, which is more than we need, but which allows for storage of other things if desired. And, I really like the colors!
